James Charette working with the USWNT in Rio for the Olympics

Blackhills FC Technical Director James Charette will be traveling to Brazil this summer to assist the U.S. Women's National Team during the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

Charette will be assisting with scouting and analyzing opponents from around the world. Charette has a history of working with U.S. Soccer, as a national instructor on U.S. Soccer educational staff, U.S. Deveolpment Academy Scout and helps with U.S. Soccer Market Training Centers.

The U.S. Women National Team is working towards being the first team in history to win a Women’s World Cup and Olympic Gold Medal consecutively.

The U.S. will open Group G play on Aug. 3, two days before the Olympic Opening Ceremony, against New Zealand (5 p.m. MST) at Mineirão Stadium in Belo Horizonte. The USA will also face France on Aug. 6 (4 p.m. EST) and Columbia on Aug. 9 (6 p.m EST)
