Blackhhills Inclement Weather Policy

Severe weather in our area may result in suspension or cancellation of a game, practice, or other activity. Inclement weather includes lightning, heavy rain, hail, ice, snow, flooding, air quality, and other conditions that deem unsafe and not conducive for players, coaches, and families.

During the school year (Sept. through June), BFC follows the Olympia School District (OSD) cancellation policy. If OSD’s after school sports and activities are cancelled, then BFC practices located in stadiums on field turf and at the soccer complex are cancelled.

If school is in session (open), but the field is deemed unplayable and school practice is cancelled, BFC will send out a club announcement by 2 p.m. Your BFC team manager and coach will also distribute information regarding practice or game cancellations. However, due to internet provider outages, computer glitches, and other factors, please check the club‘s Facebook page, club’s website, and your email for all updates, news and information.
